Sounding Jerusalem 2008 (June 15nd – July 5th):

With 20 concerts – 8 in and around the Old City, 6 in the West of Jerusalem and 6 in the Palestinian Territories – and about 3700 people listening to the musical visions, the festival is sharpening its profile and establishing itself as a meeting place open for everybody living in the region. A new era of the festival’s education programme has started: 10 workshops are challenging the creativity and intercultural capacities of the youth of the region by combining music and visual arts.
