Vanessa Latzko, born in Saarlouis, studied at the Conservatoire de musique Luxembourg with Carlo Jans, at the Musikhochschule Cologne with Prof. Robert Winn and at the Musikhochschule Saarbrücken with Prof. Gaby Pas- Van Riet. In 2006, she obtained highest distinction for her final exam.
She won several prices at national competitions and got a scolarship from the Richard-Wagner-Association.
In 2001 and 2002 she was a member oft he International Orchestral Academy of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.
In 2001/02 she was member oft he academy of SWR Sinfonieorchestra Baden- Baden and Freiburg.
In 2004, she was Solo Flute in Saarländisches Staatstheater Saarbrücken.
Since 2005, she has been playing as 1. Solo Flute of the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra and performed as a soloist with her orchestra several times, for example at the Stefaniensaal and at „Arsonore“ Festival.
Her artistic activities covers numerous concerts, for example in Germany, Luxembourg, Turkey, and in Austria at The Chamber Music Festivals St. Gallen, Bad Ischl, „Con Anima“ in Ernstbrunn, Styrian Chamber Music Festival and „Musikabende Graz“ with chamber music partners such as Markus Schirmer, Christian Altenburger and Peter Matzka.
