Patrick Jüdt, a former student of Hatto Beyerle, is active internationally as a soloist and chamber musician and especially engaged as a player and conductor of contemporary music.

His close work with composers and musicians such as Helmut Lachenmann, György Kurtág, Heinz Holliger and Hansheinz Schneeberger fostered his deep interest in the intimate connection between avant-garde and cultural tradition.

Patrick Jüdt is a professor of the viola, chamber music and contemporary music in Bern University of Arts. Together with Hatto Beyerle and Johannes Meissl he is artistic director of the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA).
